One of the critical mistakes displayed everywhere on social media and agency model ports is the models hair is rarely posed professional / effectively. Hair needs to be posed on every shot based on body lean, head lean making anyone with bangs a poor subject for an all around photo shoot Bangs are not the look to have for professional modeling. You will see asians with bangs in Vogue and almost everyone of the models is wearing a wig! One pose. I just looked at a huge amount of agency model portfolios and only 2 or 3 of hundreds had their hair posed.
Did you ask your photographer if they were awesome at shooting agency portfolios and knew how to pose? Did you ask your photographer what the purpose of a model image is or what a client is looking for in a model?
The model above hair is posed. When shooting fitness images many should have ponytail looks.

AC hair posed effectively here as well.
